Remaining close to our farmers
Advising them on the development of their crops
Growing malting barley is technically more complex than other crops such as wheat. This is why our teams of agronomists advise and support farmers throughout the crop cycle, in every country where Malteries Soufflet is present, regardless of their level of agricultural development.
A team ready to listen
To work as closely as possible with the farmers, our teams of agronomic experts regularly travel to the countries to get a first-hand view of the agronomic constraints. In the majority of countries where we operate, there is a local team of agronomists who monitor the farmers’ production. As part of their daily tasks, our experts meet with growers and answer their technical questions. This direct contact, with no intermediary involved, makes for more responsive decision-making and greater accuracy and reliability of the information gathered.
Experience-sharing
A close relationship with our farmers helps us better understand their constraints and identify their needs, ready to help them improve their production of quality malting barley at all times. Thanks to these local services, we can provide them with agronomic recommendations adapted to the pedoclimatic conditions they face.
